In Yoga Therapy we meet one on one and allow for time and space to start the healing process. During therapeutic sessions we address specific needs whether acute or chronic in regards to injuries; chronic pain; post surgery or for preventive care. We work in compliance with healthcare specialist and provide therapeutic support for anxiety and depression.

SATYA (Sensory Awareness Training for Yoga Attunement)
A Somatic practice that introduces new neural pathways into the body, increases one's overall sensitivity and responsiveness in the sensory-motor system. We begin and end in Savasana dropping in, observing over all sensations of the body and quality of breath. These gentle gliding, sliding, and unwinding movements done on the floor in a flowing fashion allows for a deep inner listening, heightens proprioceptive awareness and reduces myo-fascial holdings and restrictions in the body. Joints are mobilized creating more space. Soft, slow movements support profound physical rest of the body removing fatigue. SATYA guides us away from “doing” movement, we move toward sensing, receiving and “being” movement. This practice is a wonderful adjunct to our yoga practice. Somatic awareness leads to embodied wisdom.
